Claudia Biçen creates art and experiences in the hope they might bring people into deeper relationship with the living world. Her work has been exhibited at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery (Washington DC), the Royal Society of Portrait Painters (London), and the National Arts Club (New York). Thoughts in Passing was featured in the Washington Post, Huffington Post, and San Francisco been Chronicle and shared in museums, hospitals, universities, and high schools across the US and UK.
Claudia recently completed The Forgotten Teachers, an illustrated story about the evolution of life on earth. She is also co-founder of Wayfinder, an educational organization that designs curricula to support people to live meaningful lives and has taught a class on purpose at Stanford University. Claudia holds a BA in Philosophy & Psychology from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Social Anthropology from University College London.
